Overview:
Years after their only son disappears, a couple decides to adopt. At the orphanage, the wife finds a feral boy and convinces her husband to bring him home. Unbeknownst to them, they welcome a sinister entity that takes on the form of their loss, gradually transforming into the missing child. When the woman becomes pregnant, the creature grows hostile, unwilling to share their love.
