Overview:
Junior discovers an old Beetle abandoned in the garage of his grandfather, a lonely man who has been estranged from the family for years. Determined to keep the car, Junior realizes he will have to mend old wounds that fractured the family. While restoring the Beetle, Junior begins to take care of the house and his grandfather, and the two build an unlikely friendship. As the young man learns to be more assertive and confident, his grandfather rediscovers the will to live, re-evaluating prejudices and learning to be more talent. This intergenerational exchange deeply transforms both of their lives.
